Playstation 3D Release Date Confirmed: Blu-Ray and PlayTV Included

Sony Europe’s Senior Director Mick Hocking just officially announced that the PS3 will have a significant update in the future. Aside from integrating 3D graphics, the PS3 will also come with a Blu-ray 3D movie playback and PlayTV and expected to be released in the month of September.

Sony has been obviously doing a good business with its Playstation products. Some data shows that over 35.8 Million PS3 has been sold out. Now that PS 3 in on with an upgrade, making the PS3 HDMI 1.4 compatible to enable 3D display, surely a lot of PS3 users will also get highly interested.

In addition to the 3D technology, the PS3 will also include a PlayTV. The PlayTV, which is everyone’s favorite digital TV receiver, will enable it to broadcast a full 3D content. There is no need to set up, all you need is to connect using your HDMI cable and that’s it your PS3 will be able to recognize that you have a 3D display attached.

Upon the launch of the PS3 3D in September, it will also have an upgrade which will support Blu-ray movies in 3D. Just like the PlayTV, you don’t need to do anything, you just have to connect your PS3 and you may now enjoy your favorite Blu-ray movies which are more alive and exciting in 3D graphics format.

The 3D PS3 also plays 3D pictures and 3D camcorder movies that you have taken with your families. You can also watch your favorite You Tube videos on the PS3 3D. This seems really interesting isn’t it?
