Just like what we predicted yesterday, the 15-hour long maintenance for PSN has delivered us the full restoration of the network along with the return of Playstation Store, giving players the ability to download contents again, buy in-game items, etc.
Then again, after a couple of hours playing Black Ops Multiplayer, one of our colleagues have reported this strange (Error 80710D36) upon trying to log-in the Playstation Store. In fact, this forces her to close the whole window, making her unable to purchase any items on the shop.

After digging a little bit on this issue, I found out that other players are experiencing this error as well; and the root cause of this, is the congested servers not being able to support the sudden influx of gamers around the world – we’re talking millions here.
Meanwhile, we hinted yesterday that problems are expected to arrive after the arrival of PS Store, just like when PSN was first brought online last April 15. Naturally, this issue should normalize once the surge isn’t there anymore. In our previous report, we expect the full recuperation of the network to happen this weekend (June 4-5). We still keep our fingers crossed!
So how about you, did you receive the Error 80710D36 while trying to login the PS Store?
