Hey boys and gals! Here’s an interesting news coming from engadget, who’s on a current track of proving to the whole world that the once leaked Playstation Phone would be for real and not just a product of a geek’s imagination. As some of you who are already familiar with the story, the PS phone was first leaked last August and it was rumored to cater some of the most advance features to support full-length hardcore games at the comforts of your own mobile device.
So far, Sony Company is still denying all of these leaks but today, a recent interview of WSJ to its CEO, Bert Nordberg, manages to confirm some interesting statement about the Playstation phone. Here are some of the excerpts.
“There’s a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere,” When asked about the Playstation Phone.
“I haven’t dug into that history, but the future might be brighter,”, “Sony is of course a very strong brand, and why shouldn’t we use that?” When asked about a possibility of revealing a new PS brand of gaming device on its stash.
So far, the rumored release date for this one would be the upcoming Mobile World Congress at 2011, but it could also mean the revelation of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 (Anzu). For all we know, there’s another PSP2 project Sony is hiding from the public and one shouldn’t mix that with the Playstation Phone concept. Anyway, I guess the truth is out there somewhere – we just need to wait, as usual!
