We’re pretty excited on the recent announcement made by Ubisoft about its latest Prince of Persia video game project – The forgotten Sands. Ubisoft revealed that its development team is at full steam ahead on the latest Prince Persia installment scheduled for release on May 2010. However, No official announcement were made as to which console unit(s) platform it will run. For now, the only information we have is that the game will be released on console and handheld units (via Video game blogger ).
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands’ plot will be a continuation of the Sands of Time Trilogy- which ended at Two Thrones. The game development isn’t surprising either because “accidentally” (or intentionally) Prince Persia: Sands of Time movie will also be shown on the same date. The cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal (as Dastan) ,Gemma Arterton (as Princess Tamina) and produced by the famous Jerry Bruckheimer.
The trailer for the Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will be shown on December 12 during Spike TV’s Video Game Awards 2009. For the meantime you can enjoy the High-definition trailer of the Prince of Persia movie.
