Just because PSN is facing its darkest days this month doesn’t mean Sony wouldn’t think of improving Sony PS3; aside from fortifying its security to prevent more hack-attacks on its system.
As of today, the gamingsphere reveals the company is planning for a PS3 3D event which will happen on July 19-21.

This event is all about tackling the first year of PS3 in venturing to its 3D projects; whereas they will be talking about the future of the console in terms of 3D technology. Meanwhile, Sony Studio 3D boss Mick Hocking will give a speech entitled as “The Stereoscopic 3D Experience: The First Year of 3D on [PS3]” announcing all the 3D developments that have been done from Killzone 3 up to SOCOM 4. Included to that is the company’s next step on using a 2D camera to create a 3D augmented reality just like in EyePet Move.
Last July, we revealed the first project of Sony to introduce 3D on Blu-Ray including PlayTV, in which, gamers have some mixed reactions towards the whole development. Likewise, I’m sure many are interested to see what this conference is all about, but first! Sony should have at least fixed all the problems for PSN before jumping in on another chapter for its popular gaming console.
