Now here’s a funny and obnoxious revelation coming from gamestop as it previously managed to create a catalogue on its page stating that the newly fangled Sony PSP2 / NGP is going to be available already for preordering at 999.99 USD.

Yep, it appears everything was just a joke although some newbies thought it was legit. Anyway, the page has been taken down now which was originally located here.
Interestingly, this move by GS cause a spurt of interest among the gamers to ask what would be the real price for PSP2 (NGP)? For those who are well-aware, NGP’s specifications is like nothing we’ve seen before on a console device packing with a quad-core type of processor. Obviously, that kind of technology wouldn’t come as cheap.
Previously, we made a tentative guess that the price of the PSP2 NGP should be at least at the range of Nintendo 3DS ($250-$350). Anyway, it appears Sony’s head has already speak up that it would be “affordable” although no one knows what he really means by that.
So far, there’s still no valid / legit sites that takes pre-orders for PSP NGP and those you would see from rogue websites would be 100% fake. Take note that this device’s release date would only happen on November / December of this year. So beware of scammers.
