Another Ubisoft game is coming your way and this is the upcoming platform video game entitled Rayman Origins. This game has been developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft and apparently, this is the fourth major title from the Rayman series that was announced by Ubisoft at the E3 2010.
Basically, this game is actually the first title to use the UbiArt Framework. This is a developer tool that helps in creating contents that can be used in an interactive environment. According to Ubisoft, the development team behind this game has made this game more accessible to more gamers out there because only a few people have managed to finish first one because they find it to be quite complicated.
The Rayman Origins was originally a downloadable title for various platforms that include the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, PC, WiiWare, Nintendo 3DS, iPad and iPhone is also being considered as well. However, by June 2011 this downloadable title was announced to become a full retail title already.
According to Ancel of Ubisoft, Rayman Origins was designed with single-player and multiplayer in mind in order to cater the needs of more players thus, giving almost gamers out there to play the game. All of the characters in this game will also have the same abilities in order to keep the game accessible to everyone.
Basically, this game revolves around the story of the origin of its titular character throughout the game. It will feature a four-player cooperative play where the players will be controlling Rayman, Globox and two teensies, but if this game will be online as well is not yet clear as of the moment.
As compared with the previous installment from the Rayman series, this upcoming game will be a relatively easy game that will surely be appreciated by more players. Lums will return in this game as in Rayman Revolution and will act as currency that can be used to purchase power-ups, health upgrades and the so-called “I Dare You” challenges.
So if you would like to try this game, watch out for it before the end of this year, which is expected to be in time for the holiday season.
