CES 2011 is well underway and onto ending its glorious gadget show. One of the companies that also made a name for themselves on the floor was Razer with their plethora of peripherals and gadgets to make any grown geek drool. Here we have one Razer’s peripheral, the Razer Onza Xbox 360 controller.

Although the world seems to be moving to motion based controllers, there is still a need for some good old fashioned controllers. The Razer Onza Xbox 360 controller has hyper-response action buttons and resistance analog sticks that can be adjusted to the users preferences. One of the selling factors of this controller is its “Improved D-pad” which is basically a separation of the whole circle into 4 parts to make the Up, Down, Left, and Right buttons. There are also two additional buttons on the shoulders right smack dab in the middle, between the bumper and trigger. These can serve as easy access command buttons or even help handicapped gamers.
There are two variants of the controller, the Standard and the Tournament edition. There is a 15-ft. cable on this controller as well as backlighting and rubberized texture for that firmer grip. These variants can also be used on a PC.
The Razer Onza Xbox 360 controller Standard edition will sell for $39.99 and the Tournament Edition will sell for $49.99. These variants will be made available worldwide in January.
