Do you still have with you those good old Sega Genesis and Nintendo SNES games? Do you miss playing those games but do not know what to use? Then get yourself the Retrode 2 Game Adpater.
The Retrode is a USB adapter made in Germany to enable old games of Sega Genesis and Nintendo SNES to be played on the computer.
Retrode recently released a version 2.0 and will feature 2 cartridge slots for the video games. It has Access ROM for program/data and SRAM for save games. 2×2 ports are provided for Sega and SNES controllers which would accommodate up to 4 players playing simultaneously.
Retrode is easy to use and does not need for a driver to operate. It can run with any OS and any emulator and expandable using plug-in adapters. To use Retrode, simply find and install an emulator. After plugging a cartridge and the controllers into the device, connect it to the computer via USB. Go back to the computer and load a ROM into the emulator. Finally, configure the controller and you are ready to play.
Retrode 2 game adapter is available for pre-order since December 2011 and shipment will be on the last week of January 2012. It is priced at $84.99 and the package will include a USB cable and an instruction sheet.
