If you enjoyed playing the 1st two games from the Rock Band series, then here is another music video game coming from the same series that you will surely enjoy as well and it will be called the Rock Band 3. Apparently, Rock Band 3 is an upcoming music video game and the third installment from the Rock Band series, which was developed by Harmonix Music System and published and distributed by MTV games and Electronic Arts respectively.
The Rock Band 3 is pretty similar to its previous version, but has included certain additions that will surely make this music video game more pleasurable to play. One of the major changes in this upcoming video game is the addition of a keyboard and around 100-plus buttons. At first, you may find it a little awkward to use, but eventually after some time you will find it to be an amazing way to experience Rock Band 3. This additional keyboard has also enabled its developer to include additional songs as well. Some of these are Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London” and mostly Elton John’s songs.
Basically, the Rock Star 3 includes 83 tracks in all, which consists of more pop songs than metal. However, of the 83 tracks only 63 uses keyboards and there are also some that have some pretty sparse keys as well. Some finds it a little disappointing since they find the song list to be not exactly the best song list that they have expected.
Another new feature in the Rock Band 3 is the Pro Mustang Guitar from Mad Catz. Basically, this guitar has more than 100 buttons that looks like the strings and frets found on a real guitar. So you can simply learn to play a guitar faster using the Pro Guitar.
The Rock Band 3 seems to be a very fun and interesting music video game. If you are a music lover, then surely playing this video game will be enjoyable for you. You can enjoy new songs with the additional keyboard and Pro guitar accessories to feel like a true Rock Band artist.
It looks like that the Rock Band 3 will be one of the best music game options around. It was already launched in North America and will be available in Australia and Europe before the month ends. Price of the game alone is $59 / €59 respectively. The Rock Band 3 is initially available for the Xbox360, PlayStation 3 and Wii consoles and a Nintendo DS is apparently being developed at present.
