If you are a Facebook fanatic, then the new Rockmelt browser might interest you. Apparently, RockMelt is the newest internet browser in town that lives in the cloud and make use of Facebook authentication in order to synchronize a user’s browsing experience across several machines. And just recenty, the company has released the beta version of this new browser to the public. Rockmelt is a company supported by Netscape founder Marc Andreessen.

Having a new browser from scratch seems to be a difficult task given a lot of popular browsers like Google, Microsoft, Mozilla and Apple. In order to make it, this new browser must really be something different and try to introduce something that would change the browsing experience of many.
The Rockmelt browser was built initially for the main purpose of sharing. With this browser, you can easily browse with your friends by simply logging on to Facebook. A big “share” button is always on top of it and lets you share any web page, images as well as previews. You can simply call it a Facebook browser, but in reality the Rockmelt browser is more than that.
The biggest change that you may notice with this browser is that it is mostly built around friends, feeds and search results. The left rail is designed for friends while the right rail is for sites and the top rail is for search. As mentioned earlier, with the use of the left rail, your Facebook friends can browse along with you. While the right rail allows you to organize all your news feeds as well as streams your favorite site. This functions like a bookmark bar that you can save some website to and also alerts you when a new content has been added.

The top rail on the other hand was designed to speed up the search process by providing you the top ten results for your search, so you can tab through each result as well as see the web pages behind each search result as well.
Well, it seems that the Rockmelt browser is very promising and offers fast results as well. The fact that it tries to offer and bring in different streams as a natural experience seems to be quite interesting as well. This new browser is now available in a limited beta version.
