Need additional disc space on your laptop or computer? Or are your files getting too bulky and you need to have another storage space? Problems like these need not to be punned over with Samsung’s latest SSD.

Digital media frontrunner Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced its newest addition: the Samsung 830 series, the company’s newest addition in their long line of advanced internal Solid State Drives, or SDDs. The new Samsung drive integrates a state of the art SATA revision 3.0 interface, which literally doubles the capacity of the Samsung 830’s predecessor, the SSD 470 series. In other words, the Samsung 830 series will completely change the way we see computer upgrading without the hassle of purchasing another unit.
Adding to its practicality, the Samsung 830 series features a professional and elegant brushed metal exterior casing, adding to Samsung’s effort to put in their world renowned engineering in every product that they market. The black tone highlight and the orange box in the lower left of the device complete the Samsung 830’s exterior aspects.
Solid State Drives operates on flash memory rather than spinning platters found on our conventional hard disc drives. As a result, Samsung’s intricate line of SSDs can give any user maximum usage and overall performance, boosted reliability with little or no risk of hard drive crash and/or failure.
Come October, the Samsung 830 series will be available in 64, 128, 256, and 512GB capacities. Prices of each will be announced in the product’s official launch this fall.
