Aside from the smartphone wars, there seems to be also an on-going battle between telecommunication companies. Every company is surely strategizing on their product line-up and they’d surely want to have a heads up in the race. Sprint for its part is quite busy doing just that when it is set to announce the launch of its newest handset on its line – the Samsung Epic 2.
Dubbed as a “better” version compared to the Epic 4G, the Epic 2 has a 4-inch screen. Keeping things running is its 1.2 GHz single core Hummingbird processor. It also packs an 8-megapixel camera and sports the QWERTY keypad (in landscape form). The features draw quite a thin line when compared to the Epic 4G since it had a 1 GHz processor coupled with a 5-mp camera.
The Epic 2 is said to be launched by Sprint as the handset found between the high-end and low-end phones. Other specifications aren’t available at the moment as we have yet to hear from Sprint. We have to rely on the word out regarding what Epic 2 has to offer.
Those who are curios about the price and availability, we’re still awaiting confirmation from Sprint. I guess in the next coming months, we’d have to be tuned in to learn more and satisfy our curiosity.
