If there’s one thing some users may find annoying with Samsung is that, when it reveals a particular superphone, it can undergo with so many different names but its core features and specifications are all similar. Take for example the monikers behind Samsung Galaxy S II revealed it will have four different names when it finally reached USA designated for T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
Speaking of which, engadget received a tipster report today showing that Sprint’s Galaxy S II version may not be called as “Within” instead, it will have a new alias which we all are familiar of – the Epic 4G Touch – which sounds like the second-generation of Samsung Epic 4G last year.
However, there’s a mismatch going around with that leak we found last month hinting “Epic 2” will only have a 1.2GHz single-core hummingbird CPU along with its slider-QWERTY keyboard unlike this leak about the Samsung Epic 4G Touch which removes the slider keyboard along with specs similar with Galaxy S II like a dual-core processor.
If you’ll ask me, there’s a big chance these two devices will be each sold separately under Sprint this year, which sounds more interesting. By the way, other devices mentioned under the yellow carrier are HTC EVO Design 4G and Motorola Admiral.
