You can already see which phones goes on the greater hierarchical role whenever you look at its official PR statement. And if it happens that its name is not ‘focus’ enough then you bet that device is just a wingman. Sad but true for the case of Samsung Focus. If you have been following this phone since it was first leaked on August as the Samsung Cetus i917 then you may be shedding a tear right now, otherwise you would be in glee because it sure looks like a ‘curvier’ version of its more glamorous brother – the Samsung Omnia 7.

So what more to look on the Samsung Focus? Basically its specs is the same with Omnia 7. Its rounded yet thin form factor will lie on a 4 inch WVGA super AMOLED capacitive touch screen. It will be powered by a 1GHz snapdragon. A 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. Its storage capacity will be the usual 8GB on a microSd slot which is expandable up to 32GB. First impressions claim the Focus looks like one of the Samsung Galaxy S models. Other notion affirms this one is a bit plastic to the touch but very glossy and the way WP7 platform syncs to its display is quite snappy.

There’s nothing really much to say for the specifications of this device now except that it’s quite the same with the Omnia 7 — except for the form-factor of course. This one is going to be available on November 8 as well on AT&T carrier for a price of 199.99 USD with its usual contract plan.
