Remember T-Mobile’s Galaxy S II version, popularly known as Hercules, revealed last September? It turns out Magenta is planning to reveal its successor launching more or less at the same period called Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G.
While most of its details remain vague, the company did manage to spill some specs at the heat of CES event confirming it’ll be powered by dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, a brilliant Super AMOLED touchscreen display, back and front-facing camera and will support the network’s juiced up 4G (HSDPA+) network able to do DL speeds up to 42MBps. And most probably, it will be powered by Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on its debut. However, there’s still a lot of ambiguity with this device. For one, the mockup image doesn’t include any ‘HD’ sign which is kind of disappointing since we all know most high-end Android phones coming this year will have 720p resolution. Aside from that, the PR suggest it will be under the “Galaxy S” series instead of “S II”. Probably, you can say these are only machine errors and we certainly hope the handset will able to compete largely with other superphones.
For those who are interested, the device is expected to have its release date on the first half of this year in which we expect will have a premium price.
