Just when you thought Sammy will take a break with the word “Galaxy S” for all of its smartphone release since last year, it appears the company just can’t get over with the brand. Today, it’s leaked that Samsung will reveal another S version, and it will be called as Samsung Galaxy S Plus.

For starters, the first Samsung Galaxy S was released last March, followed by its debut on USA (Fascinate, Epic, Vibrant, Captivate) which all have the product number “i9000”. For this year, we have the dual-core Samsung Galaxy S II which debuted at the MWC event. And as of the moment, this unearthed device would be called as the Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Why plus? Well, it’s because the processor has been up-size to a whopping 1.4GHz! Not confirmed though, if it’s a dual-core or a single one, eitherway, it should be fast! As for its other specifications, it will pack Android 2.3 for its platform but TouchWiz 4.0 for its core user-interface. 8GB internal memory, 1650mAh battery, and all of this would be displayed on its 4-inch super AMOLED screen – still not yet confirmed if its SLCD, etc.
Well, this leak came from boys from Sammy’s hub and they are still determining if it will land on USA or UK, but for the meantime, its confirmed cost will be around 23,900 rubles (840 USD) and only available in Russia, with a release date on late April.
