There’s a rogue report going around the blogosphere that Samsung is planning to use a super-amoled screen on its next mobile displays – which depicts a possibility for a major change on the second generation Samsung Galaxy Tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2). While there are no leaks aside from this super-amoled news, there are claims that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will use a bigger resolution 1200 x 600 with more DPI per inch (better quality of pictures) vs the old 1024 x 600 resolution on the OLED screen of Samsung Galaxy Tab 1.

Apart from this revelation, there’s a big chance that Sammy might offer a bigger tablet, thinking that its major competitor (and future) claims that a 7-inch tablet is just too short to be called as a tablet. We’re still churning with the leaks here but if these rumor-mills are correct then we’ll be having a new Galaxy Tab on mid of 2011 (later part of Q2 or early part of Q3 on 2011) and you can expect at that time, we may be using a honeycomb platform considering that LG revealed as early as Q1 of 2011, its new Tegra-2 powered tablet will be supporting the next generation Android platform.
Rest assured, this rumor-mill will be succeeded with more leaks for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. So what features do you want?
