At this point, it’s getting pretty ridiculous for users, as well to the enthusiasts, to see tons of leaks revealed on the net giving the impression that Sammy will be launching not one, not two but three similar galaxy tabs for this year! Anyway, just in case you happened to be that bewildered customer, you may want to see all the rumored galaxy tabs before.
First, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 w/ Tegra 2 processor which turned out to be the Galaxy Tablet II revealed for this year’s MWC event. This is also the same device leaked before as the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Second, the Galaxy Tab running with 1.2GHz CPU which supports specification similar to the first-generation Galaxy Tab but this one would have an increase MP on its camera. Release date unknown.
And third, which is the main topic of the day, it appears a Korean-based website claims that Samsung will be revealing an 8.9-inch Android tablet and its release date would arrive after the 1st half of this year which will hit this summer. This 8.9-inch tablet doesn’t have a specs yet but this may come out as the same device with the 1.2GHz Galaxy Tab or not. The only thing we can do is to wait!

At this point, it’s obvious that Samsung is just creating a buzz out from these leaks so that users would have something to look forward with them. As you can see, tons of competitive tablets have floated around for the past couple of weeks, and specswise, my eyes are all in for the Xoom, G-slate and Touchpad tablets. In my opinion, one of the worst fears of Sammy is to see their Galaxy Tab being forgotten eventhough it’s hailed as the King of all Android tablets last year. Obviously, the tides have already changed this year.
