Just recently Samsung Telecommunications America, the leading mobile phone provider in the US has officially announced that its upcoming Android-based tablet called Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available through the four largest network carriers in the US. As announced, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless will be joining forces in bringing this much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Tab to its potential consumers.
The Galaxy Tab is the first mobile tablet from Samsung and seen to become one of the tough competitors of the very popular Apple iPad. It seems that Samsung is really serious in bringing the Samsung Tab to the top as it target more consumers and in doing so, the Galaxy Tab will be hitting the market through four of the largest network carriers in the US.
This new tablet from Samsung sports a brilliant 7-inch enhanced TFT display screen and powered by the 1GHz Hummingbird Application processor that supports 3D graphics as well as smooth Web browsing. It will run the Android 2.2 operating system and also includes full support for the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 as well. It is also equipped with two cameras, a front-facing 1.3 MP camera enabling video chatting and a rear-facing 3 MP camera for taking pictures.
