There is a lot going for T-Mobile on June 8 because of the 3 new Android-based devices that they will be releasing. One of those is the Samsung Gravity Touch 2 “GT2”, the successor to the original Gravity T which is a midrange smart phone with 3G capability.

The Gravity brand of Samsung is getting a leap with the addition of Android to its generation. Advertised as a great tool for “connected socializers”, it might find a market among the younger generation as it a phone that is optimized for texting.
The breakdown of the full technical specifications has not been released but according to reports, GT2 will probably be running Android 2.2 (Froyo), sporting a 3.2 inch display, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, 800 MHz processor and 3.2 megapixel rear camera. While the given specifications might not put this phone right off the charts, perhaps we should hear more about its suggested retail price and package before we judge if it’s a treat for its range.
In a recent repot,TMoNews teased us with an image that this phone might be a bang for the buck that costs for only $50 if you agree on a two-year deal. Do note that T-Mobile has not confirmed this yet.

The Samsung GT2 will be launched with other handsets from Samsung, the Hawk Exhibit 4G and the HTC Sensation 4G.
