Samsung Illusion a.k.a. the SCH-I110 or the Viper got its official imprimatur for release in the near future when the company posted an official render of the device in its Flickr account days after a leaked image was made.

While lacking in details, it is believed to be possessed of 3G for data functionality with an Android Gingerbread OS. As speculated, inside the hood contains a 800Mhz CPU or 1Ghz processor. The visible externals of Samsung Illusion are dominated by a smaller-screen display at 3.2-3.5 inches on 480 x 320 HVGA, and a three-to-five megapixel camera.
Meanwhile, telecommunications giant, Verizon is picking up the handset for its lineup on or before September 29th for a price tag of around $100 or if a two-year contract option is availed of. It is considered a midranger for having lower-end functionalities with eco-friendly features after getting a Sustainable Product Certification, ideal for those who shy from high end smartphone models or cash tight at the moment.
Other details are nil for the moment even as the release date is just around the corner. The official leak of the Android device came as a surprise as phone makers tend to avoid releasing details of its upcoming gadgets outside of the expected release date range.
