The much-awaited Samsung Intercept also known as Moment 2 is will unleash its amazing features this July 11. Yes, its official Samsung Intercept will be released exclusively for Sprint at a very affordable price of $99.99 after a mail in rebate. Originally it was priced as $199.99.
Several days ago some information regarding its intended release was leaked. Although there are only few information about this new device, it is strongly believed that this will be one of Samsung’s good 4G smartphones (along with Epic 4G) to be launched in the market.
Samsung is known for creating devices with an excellent hardware backed up by innovative software. In fact, Samsung has been very successful in launching the original Moment which is one of the best selling Samsung Android phone in the United States.
Samsung Moment’s success is attributable for Samsung’s ability to come up with phones that are easy to navigate, packed with great features, quick 800MHz processor, beautiful resolution screen, full QWERTY keypad and a great camera combined all together in one amazing device. With this, definitely the Samsung Intercept aka Moment 2 will be equally successful or even surpass the success of the original Moment.
Some say that the release of the Samsung Intercept will pose a threat against the EVO 4G. This will surely be a tough competition between the two amazing phones. Knowing Samsung‘s reputation when it comes to smartphone, the Samsung Intercept definitely is something to look forward to.
If Samsung Intercept will have an enhanced version of the Samsung Moment, then Sprint will have its new Android king upon its release on July 11. Some say that the Samsung Intercept will run with Android 2.1 and eventually be upgraded to Android 2.2 when release.
Samsung has been known also for pleasing its customers, making sure that every new product offered provides the convenience and address the immediate need of its users. Rumors say that the Samsung Intercept will come with a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.1, a four row QWERTY keypad and the usual apps for social networking sites.
The Samsung Intercept being an upgraded version might also come with Wi-Fi connectivity, a better camera, GPS and an external Micro SD slot.
We can’t really tell how this smartphone will have to offer given these very limited details. Let’s just wait and see until its official release on July 11.
