Samsung Omnia 7 T-mobile Price in UK vs Samsung Focus AT&T Price

Posted on 14 October 2010 by pinoytutorial

As a follow-up report about the recent availability of HTC Surround to AT&T at Best Buy comes this news that you can also pre-order that Super AMOLED Samsung Omnia 7 on T-mobile, for paying 35 euros first, if you are living in UK, leaving the wingman (Samsung Focus) on USA. For those who are wondering why Omnia 7 isn’t available for USA then the answer for this one is because of the marketing strategy of Microsoft to Windows Phone 7. As much as possible they are really trying to allocate and spread their WP7 on different carriers making sure they wouldn’t leave it without planting a good seed in it.

In this scenario, T-mobile is having all the fun for having (Omnia 7 and HD7 exclusively for now) and they are all first to arrive on Europe – Why Europe and T-mobile? Because that is were Microsoft will try to start earning its name on the mobile industry. In USA they already have three big competitors (Android, RIM and Apple) but at least in some parts of Europe they can be sure that the strength of competition is not that imminent (same reason why Palm Pre 2 is going to be revealed there first, huh?). And MS is trying to partner out as much with T-mobile because it knows AT&T already has a bad reputation for iPhone users in USA, and Red V is most popular with Android Phones. Microsoft is trying to gain that much needed strength from other untapped potentials starting from T-mobile and selling their WP7 to Europe and perhaps in Asia as well.
