Just like magic, Sammy decides to unveil today the next-generation model for Samsung Omnia 7 called as Omnia W. On a nutshell, it flaunts a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display (800 x 480 resolution), runs 1.4GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5MP rear camera capable of shooting HD videos and finally, a front-facing VGA camera enabling you to do video chats with your buddies via Skype. Naturally, this handset flaunts Windows 7.5 Mango OS so expect it to have IE9 integration, Bing, Live tiles and all the latest updates for its widgets.
Upon checking its PR announcement, Omnia W will also be equipped with HSPA+ network support (up to 14.4Mbps download speed). Aside from the Windows phone app suite, Sammy will also throw in some applications for this smartphone like RSS Times, video call in 3G, All Share via DLNA and wireless manager for setting up your WiFi connection easily.
We expect Omnia W to be at par with HTC Titan and Radar and comes as another good alternative when you’re eyeing for Focus Flash under AT&T. This one will hit its release date on Italy this quarter then throughout Latin America this year. Price still being concealed.
