Just because Samsung is on a roll-out of those galaxy smartphones doesn’t mean they already forgot their Bada series – once touted as one of the fastest not to mention the phone with the clearest resolution, bragged to even beat iPhone 4’s retina display. Their Samsung Wave S8500 (Samsung Wave I a.k.a Samsung Bada) sure was a catch and one of the first smartphones to use a 1GHZ Hummingbird processor. That’s it for the nostalgia.

Today, Samsung is teasing us with its newest version. The Samsung Wave II (Bada II). Take note this is different with the Samsung Wave 2 Pro that we have previewed before, this Bada II phone looks more like the Samsung Wave I, the only difference is its screen is now augmented to 3.7 inch WVGA Super Clear LCD screen instead of the usual 3.3” Super AMOLED screen. Now no one knows the real difference of this “Super LCD screen” than the “Super AMOLED screen” and frankly I would be upset if Samsung is just playing with these terms just to entice the consumers thinking that what they’re getting is something new.

Other rumored specs includes a 5MP camera with LED flash and HD recording capability, although it has not yet been confirmed if this one will be blessed with a front-facing camera. It also has a Bluetooth 3.0 ready chip and uses Trace™ texting technology – It’s similar to SWYPE but some claims it works better on a Bada Phone. It’s also significant to mention that this phone would use the Bada App Store (Samsung App Store) so you might as well want to think about shifting to this version if you are already hone with the Android.
According to Samsung, it will have an official release date on the month of November – First to be released in Germany for 429 euros (590 USD)
