While most of us are anticipating the Galaxy S II announcement in United States, Samsung took the time today to reveal its three new Bada phones all powered by its self-brewed platform updated to 2.0.
So after its “chic” superphone, its other siblings will be called: Wave M and Wave Y, fully functional and well equipped with social-media applications for its targeted users.
To be more specific, the Samsung Wave M will be under a 3.65-inch HVGA screen with touch-enabled display, 832MHz processor, along with its metallic form-factor that shows a similar resemblance with the Wave 3. It has a 2MP rear camera, WiFi and optional NFC support, built for social users who wants to be connected with their friends and ChatOn which is Sammy’s free texting service for different platforms like iOS, Android or Blackberry.
Meanwhile, Samsung Wave Y is a bit smaller utilizing a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, 150mb flash storage, expandable microSD slot up to 32GB, simpler UI via its live panel, folder manager, Social-Hub and ChatOn service as well. And since both devices uses Bada 2.0, you can expect integrated multitasking support and unique type of interface as you play with the device.
