Coming from a PR release, Seagate will be introducing its ‘Green” desktop hard drive claimed as the company’s highest storage capacity for eco-friendly hard drives under a 3.5 inch form factor targeting desktop computers for low-power personal computing adding some extra care for the environment on each cycle it produces.
As for its features, it will have a spin-speed of 5,900 RPM, will benefit from its SmartAlight technology following the new 4K sector standard. It will be utiziling 70% more recyclable materials whereas its components drive a low halogen composition to reduce harmful environmental hazards.
