If you are a certified flash drive geek, then I’ve got some great news for you!

Sharkoon has recently announced a new flash drive that offers all out speed called Flexi-Drive Extreme Duo. And though it appears to be a tiny device, it can read and write data at very fast speeds of up to 130MB/s.
Could this mean that the birth of USB 3.0 is finally here? Well, let’s know more about it.
Aside from the fast transfer speed, the USB peripheral from Sharkoon is also capable of downward compatibility. You don’t have to worry of upgrading your USB ports. That’s because flexi-drive still works with USB 1.0 and 2.0 ports. The drive also supports multiple operating systems such as Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS 10, and even Linux. Furthermore, the flash drive is coated with black aluminum and weighs around 12.4 grams. The storage capacity is up to 16 GB and consumes a very minimal power requirement of 1.2 Volts.
And though it may sound very tempting, I guess we will have to wait for additional news as to when will this device be officially released. So for those who wants to know how much it will cost to have one, better stick around. For sure, Sharkoon will throw in more info about it.
