In case you’re wondering if Sharp have more smartphones hidden on its sleeves, it’s announced today the company is revealing the latest on its Aquos Android series, called as the Hybrid 007SH.
At first glance, you can see the phone is in a metallic clamshell (flippable) form-factor, complete with that traditional looking mobile phone that you have in the past decade, but this one possess the latest innovation for high-end smartphones like running Android 2.3 (Gingerbead), has a 16MP camera that can shoot high-res pictures – touted by the company that its quality is “SLR-like” — and can shoot full HD for video-recording, all presented on its 3.4-inch 3D-enabled screen display (854 x 480).
Other goodies include its ability to connect with other AQUOS products like its Television via WiFi, and have the 007SH handset as the controller, a 180-degreee swiveling touchscreen for better navigation and NFC for mobile wallet innovation. Meanwhile, it’ll also possess infrared and “early warning capabilities” still not fully disclosed by Sharp.
For those who are interested, the Sharp Aquos 007SH Hybird Phone will only be available in Japan under Softbank carrier, and its release date is set on the middle of next month; available in magenta, white, black and cyan color – and didn’t we mention it’s waterproof as well?
