Sharp LC-70LE732U: Review of Specs and Price for 70-inch LCD TV

Spell BIG, S-H-A-R-P L-C-7-0-L-E-7-3-2-U. Yes, the all-new LCD HDTV of Sharp is really big at 70 inch. This giant that was announced at Sharp Electronic Company’s “Spectacularge” even sports a Quattron four color pixel, full LED backlighting and apps like Netflix, CinemaNow and Vudu and of course a DLNA support and Wi-Fi.

Although this giant baby has some guts to show and looks like a real winner, there’s just one disappointment about Sharp’s new LCD HDTV, there’s no 3D inside this enormous thing, I’m sure Sharp’s hoping for a number of customers not to mind this lacking feature that is quite in demand in the world of technology.. Sharp also promises that this giant is a low power consumption and is ENERGY STAR certified, this is a really big relief to those people who are power-efficiency conscious.

According to Sharp’s press release, the LC-70LE732U TV presents Sharps emotions about the word BIG and how it could revolutionize the world. The company also promises that this is just the start, Sharp promises a release of better products in the near future. But the real question is, is bigger really better? Will a gigantic 70 inch really sell, especially today that the market is down? We’ll never know until we see its sales.

For interested people who are ready to shell out $3,799, this is ready for order at local retailers near you.

I think I will be able to live without the 3D on this TV. It still looks gorgeous either way. I love that there is wifi compatibility on this TV. So I can go on my favorite sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Pandora without having to leave my couch. Just what I need, another excuse not to leave my house! Of course, the main reason to get a TV is to watch TV and I think this TV is going to work wonders with my subscription to DISH Network (also my employer). DISH Network has the most HD programming of any provider, and all of those channels will look gorgeous on that huge screen. Of course, HD is always free as long as I have an American package. So I get the best looking TV, with the best value and HD around. I like that!

Sensible comments/suggestions are always appreciated.
