I hope you still haven’t given up your hopes yet for the NFS franchise upon being silent with the arrival of Shift 2: Unleashed for almost a year now. As some of you who are familiar, this sequel would come as the 17th title of Need for Speed and this one would be developed by Slightly Mad Studios and will be published by EA. This game would be the official sequel from the much fabled Need For Speed: Shift last 2009.
There’s a lot to love with Shift 2: Unleashed, if you’ll look on its gameplay it will feature out a fully functional 2010 GT1 World Championship and GT3 European Championship which has never been done this detailed on a racing-game before. This will include several new soundtracks, tons of new racing tracks (up to 100) and more hot-chicks plus lots and lots of cool video stills. Interestingly, the game would have this ‘night-racing’ and ‘in-helmet’ camera to make your gameplay even more realistic plus an autoblog feature adopted from NFS: Hot Pursuit would also be included on Shift 2: Unleashed that enables players to compare stats / awards / racing feats while on the go.
Above all are the cars, and the gamingsphere confirmed there will 130+ vehicles on the game. Expect its release date to be happening on March 24 (Europe), March 25 (UK) and March 29 in the US of A. It will be available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Check out the trailer below to entice your senses even more!
