So far, the best feature included in this beta version of the Skype 5 is its 10-way video call feature. This is definitely better than the previous version since it fits larger virtual team meetings as well as mini family reunions. Since this is still a beta version, please take note that it can still be very buggy.
This beta version of the Skype 5 also comes with a free trial of the group video calling feature. You may video call up to ten of your friends and amazingly everyone on the call will be able to see each other just like in a real meeting.
It seems that the Skype 5 version is easier to use and provides a higher call quality. However, this version has also its limitations as well. Apparently, the Skype 5 version only works with Windows.
