Fresh from their recent outage, Skype has released some news that should bring some irate users down from their maniacal rage. Skype is now finally brining video calling capabilities to the iPhone 4 and if rumors are to be believed, other mobile platforms as well.
A help document has reached some Inboxes of big news outlets as well as some blogs about this recent development. In this help document, Skype seems to be getting ready to release their Video Calling feature to the iPhone 4 and iOS 4.2 as well as Android platforms. The help document shows details how to make video calls using Skype for iPhone only. There is no solid news if there is a help document for other Mobile Platforms, but it seems that they will be following up on this idea.
Other recent news also points to the fact that Skype already has the experience in handling these kinds of upgrades and services. This stands to reason that they should be releasing this soon.
This is in line with some big announcements that the company will be making on January 6, 2011 or what it is commonly known as the CES 2011 date. The company is scheduled to participate in some events as well as make their company announcements. So stay tuned for future and of course some CES news.
