For all you boys and gals patiently waiting until when you’ll be able to jailbreak your Verizon iPhone 4 to its latest iOS 4.2.7 firmware, then this latest Sn0wbreeze 2.6.1 tool is definitely a heaven sent for you!
Yes folks, as of the moment, all Verizon iPhone 4 users should be able to jailbreak their devices just like the GSM / AT&T iPhone 4 for the iOS 4.3.2 (using RedSn0w). You see, when i0n1c revealed the official jailbreak tool for iOS 4.3.2, it wasn’t yet ported for VZ4’s 4.2.7 firmware which leaves the whole Red V crew in delay for almost a month.
For starters, installing this tool is just like any other sn0wbreeze software you’ve used before. You just need to download the latest file here (custom IPSW creator), install it on your computer (supports Windows machines for now); plugged your VZ4 to your computer’s USB port, put it in DFU mode, and voila! There goes your untethered JB’ed Verizon iPhone 4 device.
Likewise, before you do this installation, you should have at least a copy of the latest iOS 4.2.7 (official) from Apple, as this is the one going to be modified by the custom IPSW tool inside the Sn0wbreeze 2.6.1. Also, just make sure your iTunes is always up-to-date (take that as an SOP for any jailbreak attempts).
