Sony Ericsson has hyped up its line-up of Android based smartphones with two new phones – the ST18i aka “Asuza” and CK15i.

From its looks, the ST18i seem to have a similarity with the XPERIA mini. It is a GSM handset which runs on the latest version of Android (Gingerbread). It’s said to have a Cortex-A8 processor. Also, rumors circling point out that it has a 3.3 inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 854. There are also two (2) cameras noticeable which are located at the front and rear (equipped with flash). The ST18i is touted as a mid-range phone designed for those who want a larger display compared to the compact one present in the XPERIA mini.

Meanwhile, the S.E. CK15i is a touch-based phone and sports the QWERTY keyboard. The phone’s screen size is the same as the ST18i being 3.3 inches with resolution at 240 x 400. It’s believed that this phone will be launched as Sony Ericsson’s txt pro. It has a slide-out keyboard resembling that of the XPERIA mini pro.
The ST18i or Asuza is said to be launched most probably in China this month. No details were given yet on the CK15i. Hopefully we hear soon from Sony Ericsson more details on the said phones.
