Hooy Boy! Just to make you feel warm this Thanksgiving week, it appears there’s an ongoing rumor about the revelation of Sony Playstation Phone. You know? The one that was first leaked by engadget last August. As some of you may recall, this device has undergone a series of updates giving the impression that it may never have its revelation until 2011. Just this week, a leak interview spearheaded by Bert Nordberg (CEO, Sony Ericsson) confirms a gaming-mobile device under the ‘playstation’ brand will be rolling out soon and it will have its first debut at the MWC on February, 2011. At that time, everyone was unsure if it would be the Sony Playstation Phone or the Xperia X12 (Anzu).
As for today, there’s a leaked news spearheaded by nowhereelese.fr, about this very elusive French-banner and they are claiming this is about the Playstation phone going to be revealed very soon. How soon? This December 9! And it will be hosted by Pierre Perron (DG Sony Ericsson, France) along with some brag-lines like “the most anticipated presentation of the past 10 years,”.
Now hold your horses just yet! So far, cats from engadget has not yet reported this news so it could mean that this leaked report might be confused on another device that has a phone, box, circle, triangle and X icon! You can also see, that the french based-site names the title as PSP Phone and this event will be lead by a Sony Ericsson guy so there’s a possibility that this one could be the Anzu as well.
The anticipation is killing us here — will go back cooking that Turkey again.
