Sony had recently launched a new model in their line of gadgets with the Sony VAIO J All-In-One PC. The new device is an affordable touch-screen enabled, multimedia machine.
The Sony VAIO J Touch All-In-One PC comes with its three unique hardware buttons- VAIO, ASSIST and DISPLAY OFF that will surely get you to where to wanna go with just a touch of a button. It also allows your multi-media apps, HD movies, photos and other files to be organized easily. The J series has introduced a new level of laptop experience for users allowing them to tap, drag, zoom, rotate and engage with their word processing files, MP3s, HD videos in a more interactive fashion.
It is sporting a 21.5 inch widescreen display with 1920×1080 pixels of resolution. The device displays high-definition content in Full HD. Selected models also feature a Blu-ray Disc optical drive allowing a full movie experience in its stunning 1080p high definition. For easier use, it includes a wireless keyboard and mouse that can easily be stored under the unit’s display.
Sony VAIO J packs a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7-620M CPU, RAM that can store up to 8GB, 500GB hard drive and NVIDIA discrete graphics options with 512 vRAM. The device also comes with Windows 7 Home Premium or a Professional 64-bit operating system. It also includes a smart media player for easy organization of photos, videos and music which can be done on a touch screen through flick, drag and rotate gestures. A Media Gallery is included which will recommend new content based on your previous works. Also included is a built in webcam with face tracking technology and microphone. The included Webcam Message Board software will make creating video messages or leaving handwritten notes on the screen easier.
The slim, stylish and compact design of the new Sony VAIO J allows the Pc to be easily placed anywhere in your home. It will be available at Sony Style stores and select retailers around the country starting next month with a starting price of $900.
