It’s hard to keep up with the latest in laptops when there are so many new ones coming out of the market everyday. That is why Sony made a model that is specific for those people who are not just looking for a laptop with mere functionality, but also for one that has practicality and style. Let’s take a look at the Sony VAIO X Series Notebook PC.

The makers of this product really put into consideration the usefulness of the device. As soon as you see it, the compact, smooth and stylish design is already captivating; and with a whopping weight of only 655g, it’s one of the lightest available in the market right now. This is because the Sony VAIO X’s external casing is made of carbon fiber- super thin, lightweight, yet strong. It wouldn’t be a hassle to pick it up and bring around with you. You might also think that taking this around could do a lot of damage easily – well you wouldn’t have to worry about it since its internal parts are compact and solid – with no moving parts.

We are on the verge of taking in lots of information, but if we don’t get to transfer all sorts of data to all sorts of devices, then your laptop will practically be useless. It would be nice to have the convenience of being able to get information whether through Bluetooth and Wifi among others. Well, Sony VAIO X has it. It even has Everwair WWNAN which allows you to connect to the internet even without Wifi signal. This is because it is equipped with 3G HSPA mobile broadband capabilities. See, even your cell phone can connect to it.

But like all other things, the Sony VAIO X is not perfect. It has some limitations too. For those who have big fingers, this might not be for you because it’s track pad is a bit smaller than the standard size; although the makers compensated for this by making it multi-touch, so you probably won’t be needing a big one anyway. Another concern is the battery. With its standard capability, you will last for about 3 hours; but not to worry because you can purchase and battery life extender which stretches your battery life for up to 14 hours. That’s already more than half a day of using the laptop without having to charge it.

If you are one who seeks for a top-of-the-line, fully functional, practical and stylish laptop whenever you’re on the go, the Sony VAIO X Series Notebook PC presents itself to you. It is good and comes from a trusted brand. How can you go wrong?
