In July 2009, Lucas Arts – Star Wars The Force Unleashed developer – revealed about this expansion: Ultimate Sith Edition and said that it will be available before the end of this year. Now, we have received reports that the Star Wars Expansion pack is now available for a price tag of $39.99. We believe this expansion only increases players’ excitement from the much awaited new Star Wars game , The Force Unleashed 2.
What can you expect with the new Star Wars Expansion package?
Ultimate Sith Edition promises its gamers to reveal the “deepest” and “darkest” side of the Force in a story that will put you on a collision course with Luke Skywalker himself. Yep, you’ll play the bad guy this time – isn’t that exciting for a change? The expansion game contains the original missions from Star wars: The Force Unleashed plus a couple of DLCs released earlier this year and other bonus levels. Check this HD trailer of the game.
In this new series, players will play Starkiller, Darth Vader’s “Secret Apprentice” as well as discovering new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy from Starkiller’s eyes. This expansion also serves as a continuation on the infinities storyline, the first one of which was the Tatooine DLC. Other features of the game includes:
- Includes the original Star Wars The Force Unleashed game plus 3 re-imagined Classic Trilogy levels: Tatooine, Jedi Temple and bonus levels
- Unleash epic force powers and new combos
- The mysterious apprentice’s story will be unfolded between Episodes III and IV
- A more realistic environment and different character reactions every time you play the game
Previously, the Ultimate Sith Edition was announced to run on several gaming platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac. However, we only saw the requirements set for Windows PC system. And so, we’re a little skeptical if Lucas Arts kept its promises. It would be better to check the vendor first before buying this game. For Windows PC, the minimum requirements are similar with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
