When we said that Blizzard company is very generous to those who wait and doesn’t do any mischievous acts against them, we were right! As you can see, the company has recently launched a game card (prepaid) for Starcraft 2 which will be marketed on Southeast asian countries (Philippines, Hongkong, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia) starting on November 18.

Once you bought your Starcraft 2 game on your retail stores, the new game card will be stuffed inside and you can use it forever during the lifespan of your Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty pack provided that you load it with credits (either a 3-day, 7-day or 30 day access) and players can use this whenever they enter any Southeast asian battle.net, in single player or multiplayer game. (There’s no telling if the card can be used on the whole asian servers as well) Here’s a screenshot of the price details:

At this point, Blizzard will also be launching DVD starter kits for SCII (with a free 7-day pass) plus the availability of these prepaid cards throughout your local markets. Probably before the end of this year, every one of us can have a taste of this prepaid SCII, which isn’t a surprise at all since every online game here in Asia are being loaded through prepaid credits unlike the ones on western countries where everything is being done online through its original game box.
