So Dell has launched an extremely sexy laptop when they introduced Dell Adamo, but as the saying goes beauty has a price! A price that not all can afford ( the Adamo costs a whopping $1,799!). That is why they tried to work it out by building a cost-efficient (but quality intact) laptop that will somehow withstand the Adamo’s elegance and beauty!
This is the reason why Dell Vostro v13 evolved. Dell really made sure that this sister would be incomparable to her older sister in one way (or shall I say many ways) or another. The Vostro may not be as sexy as its predecessor but still as beautiful and elegant (a little flesh wouldn’t hurt right?)
Let’s have a look at the ‘Pros’ and ‘Cons’ of Dell Vostro v13
Pros:
- You can choose from 3 processor Intel core 2 duo 1.3 Ghz/ Intel core 2 solo 1.4 Ghz/ Intel Celeron 1.2 Ghz
- A choice of OS either Windows 7 or Linux Ubuntu
- A battery that would last for approximately 6 hours compared to Adamo’s 2-4 hrs.
- It’s way cheaper (a total steal) than Adamo
Cons:
- Has it come to you what made this one cheaper? (I wonder why)
- Would the battery heat up right away, it doesn’t look like it has a built in fan.
Honestly I love the style of this laptop (because of its strong appeal). I admire it’s nice black finish and silver costing on the sides. It looks powerful (I just hope it is) yet classy! But rumor has been spreading that Adamo still has flaws to correct that’s why it’s not yet out. Are they trying to do the same with Vostro?
Hopefully when these gizmos are already out in the market, flaws will be lesser, better yet no flaws at all if that is possible. However, people will never get contented with what they have, so let’s just hope for the best and watch out for theses gadgets!
