Games developers are continuing their quest for street fighting supremacy in cyber tournaments. Capcom’s Street Fighter x Tekken has joined the fray with their unveiling during an on-site event.
Tekken focuses on martial arts tournaments while Street Fighter involves an interactive fight among players online. However, infamous protagonist Cole continues to influence the gaming environment with a seeming comparison attributed to the gameplays especially on matters pertaining to the game consoles. The collaboration that resulted in the fight stems from the company’s desire to deliver unique and improved character skills, and the gamers’ hunger for tournament fighting strategies using the distinct skills each gameplay possesses.
The rivalry in Tekken gameplay has been associated with a pro-wrestling and friendly atmosphere, a slight deviation from normal street fighting environment. inFamous is an adventure type of game taking the cue from survival gameplays then prevailing with the setting confined to a chaotic city destroyed by an explosion and Cole is now armed with weapons and sneaky moves. PS3 is the preferred console with PS Vita version on the works with possible near future deployment.
