Do you have any idea what the future of cars will be like? Well, as technology advances we can expect a lot of cars that are unique in design, efficient in performance and packed with interesting features and advance technology. And one great example showing all these attributes is the award winning vision of Serbian designer named Marko Lukovic that shows a three-wheeled electric car that is loaded with a futuristic technology. This is actually chosen as the best project among 1,000 contestants from all over the world. In fact, this car concept was recognized at the 10th Michellin Challenge Design 2011.
This car concept design that they called “Supersonic” was a product of the effort of Marko Lukovic and his team of experts and specialists that have been engaged in various fields of design and loaded with over 10 years of experience in the industry. They have been involved in various fields of design that include Industrial and Transportation design, Graphic and Packaging design, 3D modeling and Visualization, and Rapid and CNC tooling.
The Supersonic car that was designed by Marko Lukovic and his team of experts won’t travel as fast as the speed of sound, but it actually looks like it could. This car was designed to bear a resemblance to a supersonic aircraft. It has two back wheels that each comes with an electric motor attached into it. This vehicle can only accommodate up to 2 people – the driver and a passenger with one sitting in front of the other. The front wheel of this vehicle is quite hidden and its two rear wheels are also equipped with circle neon blue lights that allow better visibility and safety in traffic especially at night.
In addition to this, the Supersonic also uses a newly developed light and extra durable batteries that offer a long life that is quite longer than usual and that is about 190 km of driving at higher speed around the town and about 300 km at lower speed. However, the new innovation in the Supersonic car is the fact that those three batteries are placed at the rear part of the car itself. They are also removable as well, so the owner of the car can take it anywhere to recharge them.
It seems that the Supersonic car is a type of car that will satisfy the needs of consumers out there in the future that will be driven through and beyond huge urban towns of the 21st century all over the world.
However, the big question is “will this car be around 10 years from now?” Let us wait and see.
