Ematic's eSport Clip is an inexpensive PMP player now available at Walmart for budget-conscious techies. See its specs, price and features before buying a pair.

Smartphones and tablets nowadays are good for almost everything, but sometimes people need to multitask, and this kind of multitasking needs to be done on another device or else the tablet or phone will lose power. Enter the eSport by Ematic, an iPod-like device with the ability to play videos on the go as its primary use. However, that’s not the only thing the device can do, otherwise no one would be interested in getting one.

The eSport clip has a 5MP camera that catches not only videos but still images with a wide range of photo effects that can be viewed with the 1.8-inch fully colored screen. It can also support song playback, an FM radio, eBooks and text files like any normal media player. It also has a large internal memory of 4GB to carry all those files around, with the potential for a higher capacity with microSD cards. To transfer files to and from a computer, it supports a USB 2.0 connection. As for battery life, the eSport can stay on up to 20 hours on the go.

Ematic also makes sure that the device is also portable and easily accessible to those on the go. It sports a clip at the back, so anyone can snap it onto a belt or a bag strap and make it look like a cute little accessory.

The eSport clip is already available in Walmart for only $22. While it’s small and not quite enough for those who prefer larger images, it may appeal to people with simpler tastes in entertainment.

Sony Ericsson has recently revealed that its smartphone SE Vivaz will be renamed as SE Kurara. If you don't now the full story, read our exclusive specs review for this gadget with video demo

No more Kurara? But we have Vivaz!

Yes you read it right, no more Kurara to be launched. So if you have been eyeing and anticipating when will Sony Ericsson launch this gadget, unfortunately you have waited in vain, so much for the dough you have kept beneath your mattress every pay day just for you to save enough cash for this device.

Don’t spend it just yet okay? Because Kurara is not really gone for good! Some wise guys dropped the bomb and announced that Kurara is now Vivaz. Sony Ericsson has named it VIvaz and from now on we can stop anticipating that there would be a Kurara launching because there’s none.

As they say ‘Don’t cry over spilled Milk”, nothing has changed from Kurara other than the name. Vivaz will soon hit the phone market sometime this February or March, the latest would be by April of this year. I can’t help but wonder why Ericsson made another effort of changing the name again. Could this be part of their game plan or press release strategy? Whatever it may be the most important thing is we all have a better picture of the real thing here. Now we know that Kurara will soon be launched as Vivaz.

For those people who has always loved Ericsson phone, you would definitely have another reason to love this company. Vivaz (former Kurara) will deliver smooth features like an 8 megapixel camera that can take videos at 720p with image stabilization and continuous auto focus, it also has geo-tagging and smile detection features.

I love the style and the whole design Sony has made to Vivaz it’s something that Sony can be proud of and say ‘it’s no copycat’. I salute Ericsson’s way of building this device with uniqueness and style. Unlike the phones that I have been seeing lately that looks like it’s trying to be mistaken as iPhone or Blackberry just so it can be bought. Sony Ericsson did a big leap and changed this way by making something that’s totally hot and new plus it will have 4 sizzling colors to choose from; Venus Ruby, Silver Moon, Galaxy Blue, Cosmic Black. Price tag starts at $670-750

LG launches First Android mobile phone - LG InTouch MAX GW260. Seems like Nexus one and Droid has a new competition. See our specs review for this gadget if it measures up.

Another LG phone to beat the odds? Let’s find out

LG launches their first Android phone in LG InTouch Max GW620. You may not be so surprised with what this looks like. With all the phones being launched and released everything seems to look the same. I would say the looks of this phone didn’t impress me much. This is the rumored Etna from LG but now everything is crystal clear that it’s not!

The looks of InTouch is not something built to impress or to stun. It’s plain and more likely made to resemble other phones. I have to be honest and I bet you would agree that this phone shows off nothing but standard. The features aren’t that stunning either, but it’s the biggest leap LG has done with their phones.

LG InTouch Max GW620 has a brushed black metal finish with glossy black bezel the keyboard is white (keys) on black and the other color has a silver bezel while the keys is a combination of white, gray and black. The features? InTouch Maz will be injected with a 5 megapixel camera with flash and will be running Android 1.5 (not too advance since there’s a 2.0 now right?)

The memory isn’t such a good news since it’s only 170MB which you can increase by buying a memory card (not so enticing isn’t it?). This phone of course will have the standard specification just like any other phones such as 3G, BlueTooth and Wi-Fi.

This phone won’t be out till February and it’s not going to be released elsewhere other than UK. No details yet on when it will be launched in US or Asia. The LG InTouch Max GW620 will be available from T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

T-Mobile will offer these phone to their customers for free if you sign a 24-month contract at £20 a month. On the other hand you can get this phone from Virgin Mobile for £22 per month with a 18-month contract (you also get the phone for free) For a more detailed techie stuff you can refer to the video below.

HP introduces TouchSmart tm2 tablet PC with powerful Intel processor with convertible features. See specs review details of this gadget and video demonstration during the CES 2010

Ready for new line of sexiness from a Touchscreen? Meet HP Touchsmart TM2

I know this is not the 1st 2-in-one or shall I say convertible gadget you have seen (I believe Lenovo was the 1st to release such device. Though this is the fact I believe HP will not let us down. This gizmo is called a PC tablet though it’s more of a netbook to me that can turn into a PC tablet. The reason is a PC Tablet is a slate device that is equipped with a digital pen (stylus) and Touchscreen; this is the 1st tablet PC that has a physical keyboard. If you would examine the pictures you would say that I do make sense.

So much for the physical attributes let’s move on to what it can deliver and perform. HP has equipped Touchsmart TM2 with new features that most probably will be the 1st ever from any HP PC.

You can navigate on your TouchSmart TM2 with the stylus, your fingers and with the keyboard which ever you want, you have 3 options to choose from. It will be equipped with virtual sticky notes that you can post on your desktop (this is not so new to me).

It has games that will surely make your kids/niece or nephew to appreciate gadgets while enjoying and learning sea creatures with DigFish Dolphin in 3D.Other than games another 3D program included is BumpTop that would let you enjoy your desktop screen like it’s actually a real desk where your files or documents toss and bump from one another. It will also have Corel paint, Hulu and SnapFish.

Let’s move on with the hardware

For the processor you have an option to choose from these:

Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 at 1.30GHz, 800MHz FSB

Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 at 1.60GHz, 800MHz FSB

Each processor is tagged with a graphics card

Basically this device from HP is made to be customized to meet your needs. Which is great right? You can have it your way! I think this is HP’s way to help their patrons save some dough at the same time have the perfect tablet pc in their hands.

Here’s a snap shot of the exact details of what you can choose from

The ASUS UL30VT is your ultimate netbook companion. See specs review of the latest CULV technology on this gadget

You have been seeing CULV lately but have you ever taken the time to Google it and check what this word or abbreviation mean? It has been tagged to ASUS UL30Vt now that should be a reason for you to know what C-U-L-V means.

So let me educated you before we proceed with ASUS’s UL30Vt details. CULV is originally made by Intel, it’s a computing platform injected with the lowest power using processors so the conventional 3-4 hours of battery life can be extended. That’s why we have netbooks and laptops now that can last for up to 12 hours of battery life, thanks to this innovation!

ASUS UL30Vt will be your much awaited Consumer Ultra Low Voltage machine, promising a 12-hour battery life, now that’s mobility and dependability all packed in ASUS new laptop.

So what else do you get? This time there’s no catch, actually Asus has added a little bit more to this gadget. UL30Vt will include a GMA 4500MHD GPU 64-bit ,NVIDIA G210M (512MB) plus copy of Windows 7 Home Premium at 64-bit.Pretty cool huh? Of course you should expect that Asus will never go lower than 4GB of DDR3 RAM (since they have released Asus Eee way back 2008 that’s equipped with 4GB) and a 500GB hard drive. It will be working with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU together with switchable graphics, a 5,600mAh battery which is responsible for this monsters’ 12 hour life!

ASUS UL30Vt-A1 will be available to you but not ASAP! This gizmo is available for pre-order, meaning you can order right away as long as you have the dough associated with it (price tag will be at $849) but there is no definite date when this will be available for delivery. So that means your order will stand as a reservation just in case this gets out of stock. So where can you buy it? Unfortunately not to your favorite gadget store just a few block away from your house. Not even in the malls you have been ‘balling’ at. The Ultimate CULV machine will only be available at Amazon.com

So you think you can handle the price tag? I bet you could, especially when you still have some of those Santa bucks under your bed or hidden somewhere.

The Motorola Mirage or Shadow smartphone is released in China, will it topple the competition? See specs review of this gadget

We all know that China is one of the biggest phone manufacturers in the world, (when it comes to branded and shan zhai (imitation) handsets) knowing that their labor cost are the cheapest as well who (what business/manufacturing company) wouldn’t go for china?

So everyone who has been in the know should be much aware that Motorola has been launching a few phone in China, they are not ordinary phone mind you! Motorola has launched Android powered smartphones in China lately, some of which are MT710 and Zeppelin (XT800).

Both phones (the latter one’s I have mentioned) sports a 3.7 inch screen unlike the new Motorola baby “Shadow or Mirage” (whichever nothing is official actually) which will show off a 4.3 inch screen. What else makes Mirage slash Shadow different from its brothers? Let us break down the details that separates the 3 phones from each other.

Motorola XT800

MT710 & XT701

I must admit that I like Motorola (next to Nokia) so much, I don’t think I can criticize these phones (sorry but I have favorites). The first batch of phones (Motorola XT800, MT710 & XT701) were pretty much amazing! I love Moto, and I hope Motorola’s newest invention will not disappoint us, and since this is a new phone we expect that it will be greater than its older siblings (that should always be the case for every gadget right?)

As I can see and sense Motorola will be launching this phone to exceed whatever the previous phones that was launched in China. Though we don’t have a bird’s eye view about what Shadow or Mirage can offer we hope that we wouldn’t be in the dark for a long time. Hopefully more specs will come on the 1st quarter of 2010.

Feat your eyes on the new Blackberry Curve 8520, sexiness in a different level. See detailed Specs Review

RIM has been innovating their Blackberry phones lately, looking back we all know the main reason and purpose of a Blackberry phone, and that is to cater business individuals with their corporate needs and we all know communication is top priority! As we move forward and as the demand and need for innovating things specially when it comes to technology, people get too demanding. Is that the reason why Research in Motion decided to build Blackberry Curve 8520? Is this their way of getting out of the mainstream and make things a little bit fun for Blackberry?

Blackberry Curve 8520 is not your ordinary Blackberry that will support your corporate and business communications, since RIM has included a dedicated Music Key to this smartphone! So why did RIM decided to clothe their Blackberry with a music key? Are they trying to provide a new feature or are they trying to give Blackberry a whole new look and this is just the start?

I myself have been wondering why they decided to give Curve a twist, could it be that they are looking to target a new line of clients since Blackberry have been known to a lot of people working in the Corporate World, can it be that RIM is now planning to make their smartphone line likeable to teens too?

Or could it be just RIM’s way of adding spice and introducing something new to the public just for the sake they have something new injected to their Blackberry phones?

Whatever their reason is, I just hope that the new feature is something an owner of a Blackberry Curve 8520 will be happy about, ‘not’ frustrated about and wishing that it was never there since it’s just a piece of junk!

Oh well this are what this gadget will be delivering you guys out there who wishes to own one.

Blackberry Curve 8520 Specifications: ‘with my comment’

TFT screen with QVGA resolution (I am not happy about this)

QWERTY keyboard (as usual)

Quad-band

While these are the lame things this phone has;

Not equipped with TV-out

The Voluptuous and Sexy Blackberry Curve 8530 smartphone. See this Blackberry's spec details and video review

Blackberry is getting better and better these days don’t you think? First was the Wi-Fi and now more applications will be infused to RIM’s line of smartphones that blackberry users and fans would be excited to know about!

RIM (Research In Motion) promises that Curve 8530 will be a phone that will let you stay tuned-in to the latest buzz about what interests you! Such as Facebook and MySpace notifications will be sent to your phone instantly, so you don’t have to miss any important happening or moment in your life.

Curve 8530 is said to deliver faster browsing experience and connection everywhere you are (Wi-Fi). Plus easier navigation since this one has a trackpad rather than the monotonous trackball. Oh and by the way RIM has increased the camera’s resolution to 2.0 megapixel from the 1.3 megapixel Blackberry phones are sporting.

As you can see this phone on the left has a sprint branding, Curve 8530 has finally made it to Sprint! This Curvy smartphone will cost you $50 when you get a new contract (but you should ask a rebate in the mail 1st to avail the said price) I bet your thinking that this gadget (Curve 8530) looks so alike like its sibling - Blackberry Pureness, but of course! They are a like they’re siblings right?

It is not new to us that RIM has really not made much of an effort to re-design Blackberry (maybe they are trying to make a trademark here). All Blackberry looks like the other and only few of its physical features will change from its predecessor (that has always has been the case!)

So what does Curve 8530 has that others don’t? Well, nothing much, but I dont think it gives justice that Curve 8530 is named “low-end device” compared to Tour! Come on, there are things that Curve has which Tour lacks! One of them is the trackpad while Tour has the annoying trackball.

I know that Curve flaunts a QVGA resolution and that is a big NO, specially this time around. But then again you can’t have it all as they say and that applies to Blacberry Curve 8530.

Curve is available in two colors, I am just not sure if all carriers has both colors to provide their clients. Click on the link below so that you can check for more Curve experience and knowledge, so you can get to know more of what it can deliver. Note : The link shows the 8500 model, it’s actually 8500 from Blackberry but once it gets to the carrier it transforms to 8530, it’s because of the additional features such as GPS and Wi-Fi built in. Blackberry Curve 8500 specifications

A totally sweet deal by Dell Inspiron Mini 10 infused with Atom N450. See technical specs review and video demonstration

These eye candy laptops are sure to tickle and spice up your appetite for a new sweet treat all for yourself! Dell has launched a colorful skittles like laptops sure to make people go crazy over this gadget!

Dell Inspiron Mini 10

Just by the looks of it, this laptop will surely entice and hypnotize any person who will stare at this cotton candy! And the sweetest of it all is that it’s sugar coated with Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor. It also has a built-in speaker.

Dell has options for the consumers, I guess that is for a personalize touch. You choose what type of battery and operating system. You get to choose from a 3 or 6 cell battery that can last up to 9.5 hours (sorry but this one is only for Inspiron Mini 10 mobility). Operating system that can be chosen from either Windows 7 starter, Windows XP home and Linux Ubuntu (next coming weeks). Oh and Dell also offers a wide variety of style and fun colors for this laptop, because you can choose a customized designed artwork for your laptop from Dell Design!

First time from Dell ( I guess) this laptop has a palm rest that is resilient to smudge. I hope that this laptop is not just beauty but also power! Below are features that Dell Inspiron will be sporting.

10.1-inch standard display of 600×1024 or a 768×1366 High Definition display

Speakers with SRS surround sound

HDTV tuner plus GPS configurations

Broadcom Crystal HD for HD playback (will be available in 2010)

Infused wireless 802.11 b/g with Bluetooth plus Mobile Broadband

1GB Memory enough to support graphics with DDR2 memory at 800MHz

160GB Hard Drive or 250GB hard disk drive storage

Easy to carry because this laptop is about 2.75 – 3.1 pounds. (Weight may vary depending on specifications/choices you make since this laptop can be customized)

Here’s a Video from Dell building up its New Baby Inspiron Mini 10 – Your True BFF!

I really love to have one of these, because you can customize it, and be unique! Dell has really made a great idea of having this laptop personalized by its owner. So you can show the world (show off your New Dell Inspiron mini 10 I mean) that you are the only person who has that laptop, no one else!

So will this new baby from Dell be your true BFF? I hope so, having this new BFF will not be so expensive since it will show a price tag of $299 but that can cost more with all the personalization you want made.
