HP went with a superb netbook upgrade and redesigned Mini 210 weighing less than 3 pounds and is less than an inch thick that makes it an ideal partner for users on the go. The specs are still on par with the earlier release but it boasts addition of Beats Audio that ensures high quality entertainment, 10.1 inch display and a six-cell battery that promises almost 9 hours of power over the standard battery last year that came only with 4 cells. The new Mini 210 comes in modern aesthetics with its candy colored lids and will be available in sweet purple, charcoal, crimson red, luminous rose and ocean drive. Priced at $300 for the charcoal version and is priced slightly higher at $330 if you want it on brighter colors. The redesigned Mini 210 will be available on June 15.

Lastly but not the least on the HP package is the flagship HP envy 14 that comes in a familiar design but comes with a major internal upgrade with the latest Intel Sandy Bridge CPU and USB 3.0. The high-end notebook promises better touch experience with optical sensors probing on the multi-touch gestures of its user. The HP Envy 14 will be available on June 15 on a starting price of $1000.

Aside from the upgraded CPU, users will still get the same specs (like the previous Mini 210) such as 10.1 inch WSVGA display (with a maximum resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels), 250GB hard drive and 1 GB RAM. The netbook comes with a 6-cell battery (that can run up to 8 hours) as compared to the HP Mini 110’s smaller 3-cell battery.

The faster processor will absolutely make your netbook usage a little more enjoyable. The HP Mini 210 has a dual-core processor that runs at 1.66GHz and includes 1MB of L2 cache. It also supports DDR3 memory modules. Ports included are (3) USB 2.0 ports, mini D-sub, 802.11n WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 0.3 megapixel camera.

Though currently available only in Japan, HP will release the HP Mini 210 with Atom N570 in the United States at the end of this month, March 2011. The same processor speed is going to be available in other netbooks such as the Asus EEE PC and the Acer Aspire, but of the course the HP brand has its own regime. Watch out for HP’ new Mini netbook!

              

The pictures above are the leaked photos of HP Mini 210, if you take a closer look this one has a unique classy finish! Sleek and sexy, will this one deliver performance and efficiency? Or will it just be another pretty display but totally bootless. Even though that the pictures has leaked and it’s already seen on eCost.com, this netbook is not yet available for purchase. But we are sure that this baby wil be available in 4 colors, which are blue,red,silver and black.

To be honest, the  first time I laid my eyes on this netbook it instantly reminded me of Dell Inspiron Mini 10. They don’t have much of a difference really. They sport almost the same features such as; Intel’s “Improved” processor (hopefully the word improved is really true), the design from the silver and black edition reminds me of the customized edition of Dell Inspiron not to mention HP’s own Mini 311 Nvidia .

HP Mini 210 will have;

• 1 GB of RAM
• Either a 160gb or 250 (your choice I suppose)
• Windows 7 Starter Pack that’s already installed
• Choose between a 3 cell or a 6 cell battery
• 10.1 screen display (no info about what type and resolution)

There is no specific details of what’s the size or weight of this mini, I think it will take another month for those to leak out because this HP baby will be out by February of  2010 ( I heard it will be by the 1st of Feb).  But one thing is for sure it will have a price tag of $322 up to $400.
