We all know that Intel’s Core i-series is the ‘in’ thing today but we also should take in consideration that not all consumers are a fan of Intel. This is a smart move from MSI really since most of the computing devices being released lately are all powered by Intel, leaving AMD fanatics no choice (I would be guessing that they won’t be buying any notebooks running Intel since they prefer AMD).

MSI is proud to present their new gadget (successor of Wind12 U210) Wind12 U230. Now this device will come into two renditions, both are powered by an AMD processor. MSI has injected this computing device with a Bluetooth and a dual core processor which is the first from the Wind series. MSI has really reached greater heights to improve their notebooks with their Wind12 U230. Though I would have to admit that it doesn’t really possess the latest software we are expecting (like Optimus technology and quad core) it is still something that can be considered as a decent notebook. I like how MSI are taking baby steps when it comes to creating a new computing device; it just shows that they are not moving drastically just to be known to have the latest. I believe that they are thinking of the consumers’ reaction too and testing their devices pretty well to deliver satisfaction and not frustrations.

As I have said earlier Wind12 U230 will have two versions one is 033US and the other one is the 040US. I guess the US is to indicate that these gadgets are for US release only. Anyway one of the major things you should look after a but this device is the keyboard which is half of the size bigger than the standard MSI notebook they call it EDS (Ergonomic De-stress). This is good news for those people who aren’t so gif ted with small fingers.
