Dell introduces the counter part of its Dell Latitude 13 - the Dell Precision M6500. The notebook manufacturer claims this is a powerful equipment. See this specs review report to know the truth.

In the news, when consumers hear about the launching of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, they would immediately think that it is probably a remake of a Disney animation of the fairy tale. But further listening will make them wonder if this really is a children film upon hearing the words Intel Core i7 and Core i5.

No folks, this is not a cartoon nor a musical. The ‘Beauty and the Beast’ referred to by Dell is the company’s latest core addition to its commercial PC lineup. Beauty is how they call the Latitude 13 due to its stylish and ultra thin look while Beast is the name they baptized for Dell Precision M6500.

The Precision M6500 is described by Dell as the world’s most powerful mobile workstation with its dual core processors Intel Core i5 or Core i7, thus the ‘Beast’.

The multinational information technology corporation announced that this dual core versions of Del Precision M6500 will be available during the later part of February. No final word was told of its price but crowd speculates that it would play around 2, 800 dollars.

Dell Precision M6500 is a handy device with the most favorable power for business computing. As mentioned, its best feature is its dual core processors from Intel that runs speedily on 1066MHz, 1333MHz and 1600MHz memory. Other features that highlights the Precision M6500 are:

It has support system for the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, ad Red Hat Linux 5.3 64-bit

Optional RGB LED edge-to-edge 17-inch screen with entirely user-selectable color gamut reinforcement

It is the only mobile workstation that offers optional RAID 5 and three internal storage devices(64GB SSD MiniCard plus two additional HDD’s in a RAID 0 or 1 would total a maximum configuration of 1 TB and more)

It has a system that may still be modified to include USB 3.0, 3.2MP camera, and Gobi 2.0 support.
