The new phone, the Samsung Omnia M, is a Windows Phone designed for multitasking users who want non-stop entertainment and online social networking. The Omnia M looks similar to its predecessor, the Omnia 7, and has similar hardware to the Focus 2.

The Omnia M features a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1 GHz processing chip, 4 to 8GB internal memory, 384MB RAM, Windows Phone 7.5 operating system, Wifi-ready, micro USB 2.0 slot, Bluetooth 2.1, 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and flash, and VGA front camera with video-call feature.

The Omnia M is preloaded with apps such as Samsung’s ChatON and Samsung AllShare for non-stop social networking. Family members can also keep in touch with each other with a cloud-based family network from Samsung called the Family Story where you can share family messages, photos and video. Also preloaded are Windows Phone-based apps such as the People Hub and Windows Live SkyDrive.

Gamers aren’t left out in the equation as the Omnia M offers a built-in Xbox experience. You can access Xbox Live for your personal gaming info among other stuff on this awesome smartphone.

The Samsung Omnia M is set to be released in Europe but so far there’s no word on the exact release date and pricing info. Samsung has announced that the Omnia M will be released to other regions after the Europe launch but has yet to reveal whether a US launch is set on their calendar.

A 4G LTE Windows Phone, the Samsung SGH-i667 Mandel has a 7.5 Mango OS, a touch screen of 3.5” Super AMOLED plus, a Wi-Fi with 1.4 GHz processor, a GPS, and a camera with HD video recording of 5 MP. It is supported by a plethora of networks such as the HSDPA, HSUPA, and GSM. The capacitive touchscreen has a 480×800 resolution and is packed with a whopping 16M colors.

The CPU is a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255T 1.4 GHz while the GPU is an Adreno 205. Furthermore, it’s packed with a T-Flash/MicroSDHC memory card which can store up to 32 GB of memory. The wireless data feature is made possible by the EDGE, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, GPRS, 14.4 Mbps HSDPA, and LTE. Lastly, its Bluetooth feature has V2.1 A2DP + EDR.

There is no available information about the market price. However, such information may soon be revealed once the new gadget hits the stores by the second quarter of the year.

Skydrive 2.0brings new features and upgrades right at your fingertips with a streamlined service made more powerful for better accessibility. This new version features a batch selection tool for easier moving of multiple files, direct management of folder permissions, and quicker and easier file sharing via People Hub.

With Skydrive 2.0, you can “fetch” files from a remote Windows PC running the preview Skydrive app for Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista through Skydrive.com on your Windows Explorer. Also available is a new preview client for Mac OS X Lion so you can manage files directly from the Finder.

Also included in the update is the downgrade of the allotted free storage per user from 25GB to 7GB. This will only affect new registrations as registered users who have uploaded files on or before April 22nd can opt in on the 25GB free storage. Those who weren’t able to make it to the cut-off date need not worry because Skydrive has new paid storage plans if you still need additional storage space. Annual payment for additional storage is as low as $10 for +20GB, $25 for +50GB, and $50 for +100GB.

The updated Skydrive 2.0 is available for download to any Windows Phone via Marketplace.

On a nutshell, it’s a mod tool which you install externally on WP devices which promises to dramatically speed up the process of loading your applications. From a test sample, it’s revealed it can accelerate loading of apps from 11 seconds to 1 second only.

So what’s the secret? Its all about its AI which in theory, can predict the apps you want, so the mod will already pre-load the app so when you actually run it, it’ll be faster. The fast app launching with context program has an algorithm that constantly checks specific apps you’re running so it can guess when you’ll use it again. The system uses novel features derived from extensive data analysis so it’ll have strong predictive performance and low runtime overheard.

The developers behind this project claims an average app loads about 20 second on a standard WP device; with the use of “temporal access patterns” and “user location”, the delays will be reduced.

The mod app is still being developed but you can download it now provided that it may cause some bugs on your unit. If you’ll ask me, this application would be revolutionary just make sure it won’t drain a lot of juice on the device’s battery.

Already creating buzz in the tech world with its 41 megapixel camera, the Nokia Lumia PureView once again takes the spotlight with new images that feature a very unique curved design coming in three bright colors of black, yellow, and magenta.

While the new design may be too unique for some people’s tastes, the list of specs that were leaked with it may be something to consider. The PureView Lumia features specs that include: a 4.3-inch curved touchscreen with high definition resolution, full 1080p HD recording with Rich Recording Technology, a yet unknown dual core processor (possibly something similar to Qualcomm’s S4 processor) with an Adreno 320 GPU, and the 41MP camera sensor on a Carl Zeiss lens. A closer inspection of the leaked images reveals that the Windows logo it uses is the new Windows 8, leading to the conclusion that the new Nokia smartphone may come out with the Windows Phone 8 as its operating system.

Online sources seem skeptical about this design concept, deeming it an unlikely course coming from Nokia. And while these details have yet to be confirmed by a representative from Nokia or Microsoft, there’s also no news of the contrary. Since it is indeed a very unusual design, it is highly possible that Nokia will do some fine-tuning before the phone comes out in public.

Also unknown as of now is when and where this new smartphone will be released as well as how much something like this will cost.

The Ford Mustang will feature lots of popular and latest gadgets including the following aspects. Kinect sensors will be attached on the car’s front area which will enable you to observe pedestrians and other things around the car. It will also permit you to check on what’s taking place around your vehicle wherever you may be by simply accessing Kinect via your mobile phone.

The Mustang will also include two tablets using the incoming Windows 8 OS. One tablet will occupy the space previously provided for gauges and the other will be attached on the passenger’s side of the dashboard which can be utilized for messaging, web searches, and making messages that would be shown on the back window of the vehicle for other drivers’ notice.

You would also see a projection monitor that is attached to an Xbox for gaming purposes. Aside from the fact that the Windows Phone Tango accepts phone that are on the low end, particularly those within the 256MB RAM line, multitasking options have made it to the next level as Tango will now allow up to 8 applications to run on memory, hyping the previously set 5 applications. This can only mean that users will have more leverage, more freedom to do their daily activities without cramming and worrying.

Moreover, Microsoft also gave the Tango, also known as the Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh a bit of breathing room as the newly built platform will only use 122MB of its RAM as compared to the 153MB usage of 8107 model. Also in line with the Tango is an updated MMS configuration where users are bound to have delivery confirmation and acknowledgments as well as some needed fixes for their SMS bug. The improved MMS is highly suitable and came just in the nick of time since some device and other networks do not support multimedia messages.

More ROMs are most likely to come out for first generation devices, particularly on the side of HTC and the Samsung Focus. However, this is an unfortunate circumstance of second generation devices; since they don’t have custom ROMs due to a locked bootloader, Tango ROM will be of no help as of now, but taking the case of XDA, some nifty tricks will soon be splurged out.

So apparently, that leaked image above came from Windows app testers giving away quick round-up of stats. And as you can see, the Nokia Lumia 900 and Champagne popped out which tells us they are two separate devices. In addition to that, there’s also a new WP OS version called “7.10.8725″ which is a little bit absurd since we all know Mango is publicly called (Windows Phone 7.5). Likewise, could it be that these new phones will be able to get taste of the rumored Windows Tango next year?

Well, everything is still in speculation mode but if you’re interested to find out, pundits expect the full revelation of these handsets once we hit CES next month!

Just a recap, “Lumia” is the flagship brand of Nokia for its Windows Phone devices. So far, 710 and 800 are the only smartphones it revealed this year. Naturally, analysts predict the list will continue to grow once we hit next year especially when Microsoft finally unveils Windows Tango or Apollo going forward with Windows Phone 8.

As can be observed and design wise, the Nokia Lumia 601 seems to sport a polycarbonate body muck like its sibling the Lumia 800. It also seems to pack an 8 MP camera. Moreover, its camera feature or module looks the same as that of the Nokia C7 (there is a similarity folks as this has been confirmed on Nokia blog).

We can assume though that it has the EDoF technology on it or the full focus functionality considering that there’s a similarity as stated. But is this an indication that the phone may have lower level components? Well, it’s worth mentioning that some Nokia fans and loyalists are not really impressed with the full focus technology as the camera cannot take photos within arm’s length.

Much as we’d like to make everyone excited, we don’t really have the nitty-gritty details on its full specification, availability and how much it would cost. We really have to wait for Nokia to make a full and official announcement. We do hope that our waiting game pays off and there’ll be a treasure of information surfacing sometime soon.

The bubbly moniker is expected to be a code name for a rather formal brand once it’s out – similar to the Nokia Sea Ray and Sabre which were released as Lumia 800 and 710, respectively. Perhaps, this is Nokia’s way of teasing customers and the tech community and build the hype before its release.

The purported WP-powered Nokia handset was discovered in the list of phones inside the “I’m a WP7″ code. The latter is an application that can be used to know how many folks around your neighborhood uses Windows Phone handsets. The list seems legit as it included other notable WP handsets like HTC 7 Mozart.

So what’s in store for you? No particular specs and features were mentioned but it is said to carry the new WP version (a.k.a. Tango Update), Windows Phone 7.10.8711, which will follow the current Mango suit. It seems that Windows Phone is inferior compare to iOS and Android but Microsoft sees a bright future for its mobile platform. Notable apps such as music streaming service, Spotify, Facebook and twitter are signs that Microsoft’s journey for mobile supremacy is just beginning.

Availability for Nokia Champagne is still undisclosed so stay tuned.
