At last! Our long wait will soon be over. That’s because our most-awaited fighting game will soon be released to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3!
Recent reports stated that Atlus has officially acquired its US publishing rights for the fighting game The King of Fighters 13. This game will be the latest title of the publisher’s The King of Fighters series.
Furthermore, the game will be packed with enhanced animations along with a less-constrained camera perspective. Fighters of the game will also be able to implement more stunning moves, of which, will allow the player to develop new combos and tactics. The game’s multi-bar power gauge will also be reintroduced.
Other upcoming features of the game will include three new systems and a Hyper Drive mode. And just like the previous titles, the game will still be equipped with a wide range of standard moves.
As for its story, The King of Fighters 13 will be set after The King of Fighters 11. It will revolve around the characters Chizuru Kagura, Iori Yagami, Kyo Kusanagi, Elisabeth Blanctorche and Ash Crimson. The fighters will, once again, face their battles in a tournament that will be held in the Rose Stadium.

The game is currently being developed by SNK Playmore and will most likely be launched in time for this year’s holiday season.
